Leading By Being You

Marcel Duschamp, who has the greatest impact on modern art than anyone else, once said "I have forced myself to control myself in order to avoid conforming to my own taste". As young adult and children we are taught to conform toexpected codes of behaviour and ways of doing things. And there seems to be a social price lurking over us when we do the otherwise.
You see all these codes of behaviour and ways of doing things only kill our individuality. To lead you must learn to do it differently and in a way that adapts to your idiosyncrasies. This is the only way to be an individual. It will attract you attention and respect.
It is only when you risk the untried and unexpected that you are the best.
