The Expiration of the Past

William Ralph Inge was an English author, Anglican priest, professor of divinity at Cambridge, and Dean of St Paul's Cathedral, he gave this advice:
"Events in the past may be roughly divided into those which probably never happened and those which do not matter."

Stop living in your past. All that matter then has brought you here. The past is the passed. Stop living there your rent have expired. Today is a gift that is why we call it present.

The past is never where you think you left it. We got experience from the past but we can't relieve it. Never turn back and never believe that an hour you remember is a better hour because it is dead. Passed years seem safe ones.

It’s time to forget about the past, To wash away what happened last. Be grateful for the past but move on.
