Enjoy the MOMENT

As the Buddha is reputed to have said (in effect), "the only problem is... you think you still have time". You are a ghost driving a meat-covered skeleton made from stardust rising a rock through space....

Yet we all want to believe there has to be more than that. But that's wishful thinking to lead us to believe so. Science tells us the universe is destined to go cold and dark at some far distant point in the future, and maybe then tear itself apart in- the Big Rip. Whatever gibberish they tell I wont be around to see it when it does.

You see life has no greater meaning than the arbitrary one we subjectively ascribe to it.

Life is short!

Life  is so limited, pointless, and ephemeral, it makes it all the more important to live a good life and die an honourable death. Rather than filling yourself with despair and hopelessness, and fear. You see FEAR is not real. The only place fear exist is in our thought of the future. It is a product of our imagination. It cause us to fear what at present and may not exist. It is near insanity. Danger is very real, but fear is a choice. We are all telling ourselves a story. The fact I know about life is relatively short and devoid of all meaning, makes things even more exciting and it should spur on to ever greater heights.

Root yourself in the present moments. This is only time you have. And in the words of the Preacher "because a man hath no better thing under the sun than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry; of earthly things there is nothing better than for a man freely and cheerfully, with moderation and thankfulness, to enjoy what God has given him.."

Live the moment. Enjoy the moment!
