Looking inward

Don't look for someone who can make you happy. Find someone who you can be happy with.
You were happy long before you met them. You are responsible for the attachment you have for them.
Now you suffer because you choose to be at their mercies. Why should anyone have such a power over you?
Your happiness lies in your inward.
Know this truth and you are free forever!

Just be happy with someone and that is all it takes. The problem of looking for someone who will make you happy is that at the end when they leave they take away your happiness with them.
You were without them yesterday and you were so happy. Do you remember those days when as a toddler your first toy was the spectacle you want all your neighbour to see? Yes, I mean that first time the taste of chocolate was heaven on earth? You were happy then,now are you not better without them.
Know this truth: happiness is you. It is your creation. It is depended on you. No one has that power until you gave them.
Quit looking around; look inward!
