Love is a universal feeling. But beyond its universality comes its individuality. It does not recognise status nor position. When it comes it breaks bound.
Love is accurate understanding of a person. It means seeing the other person beyond what he or she might have been rather it mean giving a person worth. Worth is internal. Worth talks about quality. When you give some else worth you won't return evil for evil. The accurate understanding now becomes like when you carry a baby, and it pooh on your christmas shirt despite your anger you don't hit the baby. It is the turning of the left cheek for another slap.
Such love is selfless. It seeks the happiness of the man next door. Such love sees everybody as another you. It is giving your suit jacket to a pauper you met on road shivering in the harshness of the harmattan cold and not just your girlfriend who is shivering as you walk her home after a night in the movies.
This love projects from inside out. It is the demonstration of the internal beauty. It is beautifying all around because you are beautiful on the inside.
When some else's peace becomes your peace,this is love.
