Tools For Change

#:   A tool is any physical item that can be used to achieve a goal, especially if the item is not consumed in the process. Informally the word is also used to describe a procedure or process with a specific purpose.
Tools that are used in particular fields or activities may have different designations such as "instrument", "utensil", "implement", "machine", or "apparatus". The set of tools needed to achieve a goal is "equipment". The knowledge of constructing, obtaining and using tools is technology. Tool use by humans dates back millions of years, and other animals are also known to employ simple tools.
But older than tools is our thoughts. Infact, Our thoughts created tools. My mentor and pastor defines thoughts as " the pictures held in our mind that might be constructive or destructive and has power by our emotion." Thoughts are essentials for every creativity. Do you know the development of the civilisation came as a result of the development of the human spirit, and so one’s independence led to independence of one country. Just like . Marshall McLuhan famously said "We shape our tools. And then our tools shape us." It is our duty to shape our thought which will eventually shape us. What are you thinking is what is responsible for you got. Choose the thoughts you allow to stay. Create your thoughts! If you think people are always against you then it is the truth. We are what our thoughts have made us; so take care about what you think. Words are secondary. Thoughts live; they travel far.

Norman Vincent Peale says "Change your thoughts and you change your world." Willie Nelson advises "Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you'll start having positive results." One inspiration I learnt from Bob Marley is "Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you riding through the ruts, don't complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief and jealousy. Don't bury your thoughts, put your vision to reality. Wake Up and Live!"

Know this truth that you are the reflection of your mind and that controls how people relate to you on a regular bases. As Japanese proverb echoes "Because your heart is so beautiful, Everything looks beautiful to you". Thoughts have a force field and as many that come into your thought field they began to see how you think on the inside. Never limit yourself. Think, understand and then act! Don't be in bondage to your wrong thought. Create thoughts of having. Replace thought of everything that is unsafe with thoughts of safety; that of lack with abundance.
